Current research has been able to break down the traffic differences between the different positions on Google’s results pages (SERP's - search engine results pages). Amazingly the difference between the #1 and #2 positions is double the traffic! So if you ever thought that SEO didn’t make a difference here is one very good reason to rethink that.

Is this really any different then what we already knew. We always knew the above the fold results garnered the most hits.

After 1st page it drops off significantly.
